Well hello there! My name is Matthew and I am the owner and photographer for The Missing Lens Photography LLC. I have always had a passion for photography, however it was not until my husband and I were shopping for our wedding photographer that I decided to start offering professional photography service’s. While shopping for wedding vendors we often felt anxious introducing ourselves as a queer couple, many reparative questions rolling through our heads. Were they going to judge us? Would we be able to be our authentic selves with vendors we were meeting with? That was the pivotal moment when I decided to form a photography services company that specifically offered what I refer to as “Queer Focused Photography Services.” Whatever your identities are, I aim to celebrate them as we create photographs that will cherish your memories for a lifetime.
